To work with me please fill out my contact form under Request and Editing Service. Include the story genre, estimated length, and a brief summary of the story itself. I will respond within 2-3 business days yo begin the process and provide a quote.

Developmental edits, line edits, and proofreading all come with a free sample edit to make sure I am the best fit for your story! In my confirmation email I will request a small portion of the story to provide said sample edit. The length of the sample edit will depend on whether the story is a novel, novella, or short story.

If you decide to move forward with the service, I will send an editing contract to sign which clarifies expectations, timelines, and payment deadlines in one document. I will also require a deposit to secure your spot in my schedule. I will work with payment plans so each payment schedule is different!

You will receive the following files: the editing document with track changes and comments, we can discuss whether you prefer a google drive file or Microsoft Word file, along with a copy of the manuscript with all edits already accepted. This allows for easier initial reading and helps avoid “the red pen” atmosphere. You will also receive an editorial letter (developmental and line edits) and a style sheet (line edits).
